The staff was polite and the pizza was pretty good. Gluten-free medium size pizza offered.
Ordered a medium Gluten free cheese pizza for carry-out, was ready in less than 15 minutes. My son with celiac had no problems with the food. We will certainly be regulars as long as this service and care with food handling continues!

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! I JUST MOVED TO THE AREA 3 WEEKS AGO, FOUND A PIZZA BOX FROM MARCOS (EMPTY) ON MY COUNTER ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF COUPONS AND FIGURED I'D SAVE IT TO TRY LATER. SO OF COURSE IT'S FRIDAY AND THE KIDS WANT PIZZA, I REMEMBERED THE BOX HAD A FREE PIZZA OFFER ON TOP SO I DECIDED WHY NOT TRY MARCOS OUT SINCE WE'VE NEVER HAD IT BEFORE. I CALL, PLACE THE ORDER AND THEN GO TO PICK IT UP ABOUT 20 MINS LATER. THE GENERAL MANAGER FRANK WAS AN ABSOLUTE JERK! I'VE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. THE PIZZA BOX HAD TO BE TURNED IN, IN ORDER TO GET THE FREE PIZZA. FRANK (GM) TAKES THE BOX AND THEN ASKS ME IF I LIVED IN AN APARTMENT....I REPLY NO, I LIVE IN THE ARCHER'S LODGE AREA. HE THEN GETS VERY NASTY, RAISES HIS VOICE AND STARTS YELLING THAT THE DEAL IS FOR APARTMENT COMPLEXS ONLY!!! I HAD NOOOOOO WAY OF KNOWING THAT SEEING HOW I'D NEVER BEEN TO MARCO'S BEFORE AND SEEING THAT IT DOESN'T STATE THAT ON THE OFFER. HE GOES ON AND ON YELLING AND CALLED ME A FRAUD! AS I'M TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM THAT I WASN'T AWARE! AT THIS POINT I'M PISSED! NOT BECAUSE I WASNT GETTING A FREE PIZZA BUT BECAUSE THIS MAN WAS BEING COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL AND WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM PAYING FOR THE PIZZA IF HADN'T BE SO RUDE TO ME! HE DIDN'T CARE NOTE ONE BIT! HE HAD MADE IT UP IN HIS MIND THAT I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET A FREE PIZZA THAT HE WOULD NOT STOP TO LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS TRYING TO TELL HIM FOR ONE SECOND. I ASKED FOR CORPORATE AND THE OWNER'S INFORMATION AND HE FLAT OUT REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANYTHING. I WAS SO ANGRY THAT I WALKED OUT BUT DECIDED TO TURN AROUND AND GO BACK IN. I ASKED THE GIRL AT THE COUNTER TO RING ME UP FOR THE PIZZA (FRANK HAD WALKED AWAY FROM THE COUNTER AND WAS NOW ON THE PHONE) I PAID FOR THE PIZZA AND THEN THREW IT IN THE TRASH IN HIS FACE! MY POINT TO HIM WAS IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE FREE PIZZA, IT WAS ABOUT THE WAY HE TREATED ME. THE OWNER NEEDS TO KNOW THAT IF HE CONTINUES TO TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW GOOD THE PIZZA IS YOU WILL LOSE BUSINESS. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN AND I'LL BE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE.
I have ordered from them many times and loved the pizza but the last time and I Just ordered from them today-terrible, crust was thin and hard even I specifically said to not give thin crust, theyforgot my ranch-again- and the pizza was so cold it was a waste of money, I will never order from them again..there are better places now and it's too bad. I don't know why you changed, but between cold pizza, hard crust that is too thin and forgetting parts of my order again, I recommend people stay away..
No doubt the best Pizza in Johnston county! A gem in a small town of Clayton. If your looking for gr8 pizza check it out. Will be a weekly me for my wife and I! Nice staff and clean restaurant. Thank you Marco's
